Ricardo Baptista Leite, Member of the Portuguese Parliament (Health Committee / Economic Affairs and Public Investments Committee / Population and Development Parliamentary work group), medical doctor with specific training in infectious diseases, Guest Lecturer at the Faculty of Medical Sciences - New University of Lisbon (Microbiology) and public speaker (on matters of health policy, HIV / AIDS and other infectious diseases). Medical consultant at a multinational company in the field of information technologies geared to healthcare - Glintt Healthcare Solutions - and has also been co-investigator in national and international clinical trials. In the past, he has been a member of the HIV programme at the Regional Office for Europe of the World Health Organization (Copenhagen, Denmark) and was a member of an international advisory board at Abbott Laboratories.
