Assistant Prof. Tinh-Hai Collet, MD, is an attending physician at the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) in Switzerland. He completed his medical studies at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2004, followed by postgraduate training at the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), at HUG, and at Addenbrookes' Hospital in Cambridge, UK and is now a Swiss medical board-certified specialist in general internal medicine; endocrinology and diabetes; and clinical nutrition. He follows patients who have metabolic, lipid and nutritional disorders, both as outpatients and hospitalized patients.

Assistant Prof. Collet is the principal investigator (PI) of different studies focusing on the interlink between metabolic disorders and the disruption of eating and circadian rhythms, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), the Leenaards Foundation and other funding bodies. His other research interests lie in the relationship between endocrine disorders and cardiovascular disease, and he is an active researcher in the Thyroid Studies Collaboration, the TRUST trial and the Swiss Transplant Cohort Study (STCS).
